Sculptural outdoor furniture in the desert

Furniture — Outdoor Pieces That Are Actually Built for Outdoors

Most outdoor furniture tolerates the outdoors. Chairs, sofas, tables, bar counters, planters, and luminaires — all produced using rotational molding from materials that don’t degrade, fade, or fail under sun, salt, rain, or heavy seasonal use. Alongside them, Outdoor Kitchen brings the same durability standard to fire and cooking, in materials built specifically for heat and open flame.

Illuminated Furniture, Non-Illuminated Furniture, and Outdoor Kitchen

Illuminated bar counter

Illuminated Furniture

Integrates LED light sources directly into the piece: tables, floor lamps, bar counters, and planters that glow from within. No visible wiring. Warm, ambient light that makes outdoor spaces feel inhabited after dark.

Red sculptural armchair

Non-Illuminated Furniture

The full decorative and functional range: chairs, sofas, loungers, benches, stools, and planters designed for exterior use without integrated lighting.

Outdoor kitchen fire pit with firewood storage

Outdoor Kitchen

The collection’s cooking and fire subcategory: fire pits, barbecues, and the pieces designed to furnish the space around them. Each piece is designed to stand on its own as a sculptural object when not in use, and to perform as functional cooking or fire equipment when it is.

Rotational Molding
(Gravity Molding) — What It Is (Illuminated & Non-Illuminated Furniture)

Rotational molding is the process that makes Bullard Outdoor furniture possible. A measured amount of plastic powder is loaded into a hollow metal mould. The mold is heated and rotated simultaneously on two axes. As the mold turns, the plastic melts and coats the entire interior surface evenly, forming a hollow, seamless shell with consistent wall thickness throughout.

The Result:

  • No joints, no seams, no weak points — the piece is a single continuous structure
  • Lightweight — hollow construction means lower weight without sacrificing structural integrity
  • Impact resistant — the flexibility of the material absorbs impacts rather than cracking or shattering
  • Complex forms — baroque curves, sculptural shapes, and organic profiles that injection molding or fabrication cannot achieve

100% Recyclable Materials (Illuminated & Non-Illuminated Furniture)

Fully recyclable

Polyethylene (PE)

The primary material for the full Bullard Bollards collection. High-density polyethylene is UV-stabilised, salt-resistant, and fully recyclable at end of life. It doesn’t fade, crack, warp, or corrode. Color is consistent throughout the material — not a surface coat — so scratches and marks don’t show as color loss. Available across the full standard and special color range.

Recycled polyethylene pieces
Sugarcane-derived

Biobased Polyethylene (Bio-PE)

Available exclusively for special colors in the Reborn and select collections. Biobased PE is derived from sugarcane rather than fossil fuels, with a significantly lower carbon footprint than standard PE. The material properties are identical — same UV stability, the same durability and recyclability — but the production process is substantially more sustainable. When the project has sustainability commitments and requires a specific color outside the standard palette, bio-PE is the specification choice.

Questions & Answers

No. The polyethylene is UV-stabilised and the color runs through the full thickness of the material rather than sitting on the surface, so it doesn’t fade under sun exposure, and scratches or marks don’t show as color loss.

Yes. The LED light source is integrated into a seamless, rotationally molded shell with no visible wiring, and the material is built to withstand sun, salt, rain, and heavy seasonal use.

Rotational molding produces a hollow shell, so pieces are lightweight without sacrificing structural integrity, which makes them easy to move, store, and redeploy. Weighted bases are available where wind stability is needed.

Standard pieces carry the color throughout the material. Lacquered finishes add a coated surface: glossy lacquer is polished and sculptural but shows marks easily, while matte lacquer softens visual weight and hides marks better than gloss.

Yes. The collection is specification-grade for contract environments, including hospitality, public spaces, retail, and events, as well as residential projects.

Polyethylene pieces are fully recyclable at end of life. For projects with sustainability commitments, biobased polyethylene derived from sugarcane is available for special colors.

No. Outdoor Kitchen uses materials built specifically for heat and open flame: Corten steel, food-grade stainless steel, lava stone, and travertine.

Corten steel develops a natural patina as it weathers. This is intended: the material is meant to age, not resist it.

Yes. Barbecues are architectural cooking systems, with several offering wood-fired, electric, or induction configurations on the same base, and convertible models add an optional cooking station and swivel grill to a fire pit.

Yes. Cooking surfaces use food-grade stainless steel for durability and hygiene, and wood-fired models use a lava stone cooking plate for even heat distribution.

The materials are built for outdoor use, so no special protection is required. Protective covers are available for select pieces if you want to keep them clean between seasons.
