INGROUND LUMINAIRES

Explore Collection, Applications, and Specification Details

Inground luminaires lighting a vaulted colonnade

Recessed Into the Ground.
Built to Perform Above It.

Inground luminaires sit flush with the surface and light what’s above it — a wall, a tree, a path, a façade.

Why this collection?

01Full size range, from compact recessed units to high-power linear grazers
02Drive-over rated options for vehicle and foot traffic
03Adjustable and fixed-beam models in one collection
04Produced in-house, start to finish
05Aluminum construction, matched to load and exposure

Collection Range

Types & Sizes

Compact / Mini

Compact / Mini

smallest size, lowest wattage, tightest installation space

Standard Round / Square

Standard Round / Square

The most common size; covers most façade, tree, and column lighting

Linear

Linear

Elongated bodies for lighting continuous lines: walls, steps, and façade bases

Multi-Size Families

Multi-Size Families

Some collections come in more than one size within the same design

Materials

Extruded aluminum

Extruded aluminum

  • A structural aluminum alloy, extruded rather than cast
  • High resistance to oxidation
  • Used for straight, consistent profiles — linear and elongated housings
Die-cast aluminum

Die-cast aluminum

  • A casting alloy chosen for strength and detail
  • Highly resistant to oxidation
  • Used for more sculpted shapes than extrusion allows
12# die-casting powder-coated aluminum

12# die-casting powder-coated aluminum

  • Cast in 12# (ADC12-grade) alloy, finished with powder coat
  • Balances cost, castability, and long-term color retention
  • The standard finish for higher-volume housings
Extruded aluminum, powder-coated

Extruded aluminum, powder-coated

  • An extruded profile finished in powder coat
  • Adds a durable, UV-stable color layer over the structural extrusion
  • Used across the collection wherever a specified color or finish is needed

Manufacturing: One Facility, Start to Finish

Every aluminum housing in this collection begins as raw metal, not a finished shape.

Die-casting, step by step

Melting
01

Melting

Aluminum ingots (12# / ADC12-grade alloy) melted in a furnace

Injection
02

Injection

Molten aluminum is injected under high pressure into a hardened steel mold

Cooling
03

Cooling

The casting solidifies within seconds under continued pressure

Trimming
04

Trimming

Excess flash along the mold seams is removed

Machining
05

Machining

Mounting points and optic seats are CNC-machined to tolerance

Finishing
06

Finishing

Sanded, sealed, and powder-coated in the specified color

Custom Molded Shapes

Custom-molded forms give outdoor lighting greater flexibility in shape, scale, and integration while maintaining the performance required for exterior environments.

Testing & Quality Control

Every fixture is tested before it leaves the facility — not sampled, not spot-checked.

Incoming inspection

Raw materials and components are checked before production.

In-process inspection

Fixtures are checked at each production stage.

Final inspection

Every finished unit is inspected before it ships.

In-house lab testing

Thermal shock test

Thermal shock test

Confirms housings and seals hold under rapid temperature swings

IP rating test

IP rating test

Confirms dust and water sealing meets its published rating, critical for a fixture recessed into the ground

Optics testing

Optics testing

Confirms beam angle and output match spec

Environmental stress test

Environmental stress test

Simulates long-term outdoor exposure in temperature and humidity chambers

Electrical safety test

Electrical safety test

Confirms wiring and insulation meet safety requirements

Materials & product testing

Materials & product testing

Verifies component strength and finish durability

Narrow beam distribution Wide beam distribution

Light Source & Output

LED across the entire collection

Wattage by size:
  • Compact units run 1W–7W;
  • Mid-size families run 12W–31W;
  • High-power linear models reach 51W and above

Precision optics hold a set beam angle rather than a general glow

Dimming Options

0–10V

Smooth, flicker-free dimming for commercial installs

DALI

Addressable, individually controllable; standard for zoned commercial sites

DMX (RGBW)

Full color and intensity control for show and seasonal scenes

What sets us apart

Vertical Integration

Running the full process in-house — tooling, casting, machining, electronics, and finishing — rather than distributing it across outside subcontractors delivers three concrete advantages:

Get Specification Support
Vertical integration detail 01

Machined flange, reamed bolt holes, and a seated gasket — tolerance and finish quality visible in a single frame.

Cutting our own tooling in-house means no waiting on an outside toolmaker between order and first unit.

Vertical integration detail 03

Hundreds of housings from one mold — dimensional repeatability is what holds a spec to the five-hundredth unit.

Questions & Answers

Drive-over models are rated and sealed for pedestrian and low-speed vehicle traffic. Standard inground models are built for planting beds and areas without traffic.

Not by default. Standard drive-over models are not rated for pools or fountains. A pool- or water-feature-rated fixture must be specified separately.

IP68 means the fixture is sealed against dust and can withstand continuous submersion. It’s the standard rating for fixtures exposed to rain, irrigation, and ground moisture.

Yes, on models in the Adjustable Beam Angle collection. Aim can be corrected on-site as trees grow or layouts change. Fixed-optic models hold a set angle from installation.

Extruded EN AW-6060 T5 is used for straight, linear profiles. Die-cast EN AB 44100 and 12# (ADC12) alloy are used for more sculpted housings. All resist oxidation in outdoor use.

Yes. The collection supports 0–10V and DALI, plus DMX for RGBW color control, and integrates with most existing site control systems.
